We endorse and respect the goal and principles of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the International Labor Organization (ILO), Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
This includes everyone’s right to life and liberty, the protection of law, and freedom from slavery and torture – within our operations and business relationships. We also seek to apply relevant sections of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
While governmental authorities have the primary responsibility for protecting human rights, we believe raazams corporation has a responsibility to respect the human, cultural and legal rights of individuals and communities, and to avoid adverse human rights impacts through our own activities.
This includes the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people, regardless of race, color, gender, gender identity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation or income level. In addition, we adhere to and comply with all local and national regulations in our operating areas, and aim to respect the rights of all people within our spheres of influence.
